Keeping Your Resolutions

New Year, New Resolutions

With the New Year here, we know that many of you have made New Year’s resolutions. Whether you have a list of resolutions you want to accomplish, you have just one you’re focusing on, or you’re still undecided, we want you to do your absolute best this year. We believe that there are always ways to be improving yourself, growing, stretching yourself, and we know that this year is the year to do it. The first step to keeping your New Year’s Resolutions is setting them.

If you haven’t made your resolution yet, or you’re looking for a new idea, here are a few suggestions for you to do so, before it’s too late:

Exercise More
Get More Sleep
Go Shopping Less
Learn to Cook
Create Less Waste
Time Management
Less Social Media
Save More Money
Meal Planning
Learn a New Language
Have More Family Time
Manage Stress
Go Out to Eat Less (Except Sam & Louie’s Pizza, of course)

There are so many options out there to start stretching yourself to start or finish what you’ve always wanted to. Even though many New Year’s resolutions aren’t followed through with, it is still worth making them. What you set your mind to you can accomplish. Now, we know that’s easier said then done. We know that taking action is a whole different ball game than just setting goals.

We want to give you some motivation to set those goals and follow through with them, some of you may be a few weeks in and need a little boost.

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” -C.S. Lewis

“What the New Year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the New Year.” -Vern McLellan

“Approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day.” -Michael Josephson

“Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get it right.” -Oprah Winfrey

These are just some of our favorite motivational quotes, there are many more out there. Pick one to read each day, save one on your phone, make a list of your favorites, anything to help you make those 2019 New Year’s resolutions. We hope this motivation was enough to get you into February keeping your goals in-tact, and maybe even the year. Good luck!
